In this first oversized issue, we follow bounty hunters Hebb and Mact, on their way to take down a crooked Privateer the Navy has their eye on. Upon meeting their target, Nax, they are humiliated and end up on the Grey Coast for one last chance to take him down.
However, this island has a terrible secret. Will it cost them, and so many others, their freedom and their lives?

Crown & Anchor #2
Crown & Anchor is a fantasy/sci-fi maritime adventure, starring three bumbling idiots and their accidental acquisition of an ancient relic: The Divine Token.
With relic in hand and the mysterious Pirate Lords hot on their heels, they fight to overcome forces that would otherwise take their treasures and their lives. Experience a grand adventure upon the high seas where not all adversaries are on the water, but also within ourselves.

Two bounty hunters, Hebb and Mact, were intercepted en route to the Gray Coast seeking the bounty for Nax. Hebb and Mact track Nax to his home island and rather than kill him, accept an offer to vanquish Blagen, the skinswapper pirate, and rescue Nax’s wife. In return, Nax offered them a Divine Token – a fabled coin believed to be only legend.

After cutting off Blagen’s hands and leaving him for dead, the group return Nax’s wife safely to him, only for her to betray Nax, kill him, and turn her new weapon on the bounty hunting pair.
Skitt, an elf freed from Blagen’s cages rescue the pair and is accepted as part of the crew. Relieving the dead Nax of his Divine Token, weapons, and boat, the new trio head off to Wathyr to see their fence about the validity of this strange object.

Crown & Anchor #3
Crown & Anchor is a fantasy/sci-fi maritime adventure, starring three bumbling idiots and their accidental acquisition of an ancient relic: The Divine Token. With relic in hand and the mysterious Pirate Lords hot on their heels, they fight to overcome forces that would otherwise take their treasures and their lives. Two bounty hunters, Hebb and Mact, joined by the elf, Skitt, paid a visit to Trinx Athas, fence for rare stolen goods. Trinx confirmed what Nax had told the bounty hunters – the coin they inherited is indeed a Divine Token. After a scuffle with Trinx and her guards, the trio received word via Figlo, the mail seagull, about a new bounty. Before they were able to leave the island, some mercenaries that Naifri sent caught up to them. Their attempts to prove Naifri’s guilt failed, prompting a hasty exit. Now, leaving Wathyr behind them, the trio hurries to rescue a kidnapped technia expert. Maybe they’ll finally get paid…

MASH-UPS
For Inktober 2017, instead of just drawing busts of stuff I wanted, I decided to do some mash-ups.
I was inspired by Brother Baston on YouTube  and his combination character designs he created with his patron’s suggestions. Inktober was a perfect time to experiment.

From there, I got a couple polls going – one for an element or property, and one for RPG classes and creatures (for example ‘fire’ and ‘warrior’ or ‘mayonnaise’ and ‘gopher’). I filled in the remaining gaps with prompts in each list. After that, I used a random name generator to pair the two prompts together.

I had a lot of help from my friends and am grateful for their participation. I hope it made them feel more involved, rather than simply observing.

It was fun seeing which properties lined up with each subject. Some were really strange and others I got really excited to draw. Others, I really didn’t have solid ideas in my head, but created something anyhow!

I hope you enjoy the art, as well as the stories I have provided. Please share with friends! Every little bit helps. I am grateful for your interest in my work. Thank you for visiting!

MASH-UPS contains 31 pages. Black & White. Digital Format Only.
